Fundamental Questions
What does pacemaker.ai do?

pacemaker.ai develops AI software for industrial supply chains. Under Supply Chain Efficiency, we create accurate demand forecasts and turn them into ordering and inventory decisions that land directly in your ERP system. The available products are Demand Forecasting, Replenishment Decision Intelligence, and Commodity Price Forecasting. The Sustainability Management Platform provides the emissions transparency you need to reduce them over the long term. It covers transport emissions, corporate and product carbon footprint, as well as CSRD and EU Taxonomy.

When was pacemaker.ai founded?

The pacemaker project started in Lisbon in 2021. In 2022, it became a separate subsidiary. Today, pacemaker.ai is a company of tk accelis Supply Chain Solutions. We come from industry, and so does our software.

Do we have to implement all products?

No. You decide which products you use and in what order. Our products connect at different points in the planning process and work on the same data basis. They complement each other across the entire S&OP process, but they also work on their own. The same applies to the modules of the Sustainability Management Platform, which can be freely combined and connected with each other.

How long does implementation take?

You go live in weeks, not months. That is possible because we use the data you already have and build on your existing system landscape. The foundation is what you already have: sales and inventory history from your ERP, master data, supplier data, and the knowledge of your planners. That keeps implementation lean and the effort low. In the Data Thinking Workshop, we review the use case and your data situation. During onboarding, we train the models on your historical data and compare the results with your previous planning. Only then do forecasts and recommendations move into regular operation.

Can the platform be connected to our ERP?

Yes. pacemaker.ai complements your existing landscape rather than replacing it. Forecasts, order proposals, and alerts are fed back into your ERP or inventory management system through interfaces, including during ongoing operations. The platform runs as software as a service, so no dedicated infrastructure is required.

How secure is our data?

Your supply and business data are protected in line with ISO 27001, the leading international standard for information security management. For collaboration in the automotive industry, a TISAX assessment is also in place, and our quality management is certified to ISO 9001. All certifications are audited annually by accredited external certification bodies. Processing takes place exclusively in the EU and the EEA, customer data is logically separated by tenant and is not used to train AI models. Certificates, the TOM catalog, and a sample data processing agreement are available in the Trust Center.
